Delta Gamma Foundation merit-based scholarships are grants awarded on a competitive basis to qualified, initiated members pursuing undergraduate degrees.

Candidates must have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or the equivalent and have completed either three semesters or four quarters of course work (typically current sophomores or juniors).

Selection is based on scholastic excellence, participation and leadership roles in chapter, campus and community activities, and required recommendations.

The yearly application deadline is February 15.
(Supporting materials are also due by February 15.)
Scholarship Application (due February 15)
New this year: the merit-based scholarship application process is being handled using Scholar Select software. When you begin, you will be prompted to create a Scholar Select account. Then, you may complete an application. Please note that once you begin the application process, you will have 30 days to complete it.
To ensure delivery of email messages from Scholar Select and the Delta Gamma Foundation, add automated.email@scholarselect.com to your contacts, email address book or safe senders list.
To complete your application and to be eligible for a merit-based scholarship, you must submit all of the following items in Scholar Select:
- An application and essay submitted through Scholar Select
- A copy/copies of any college transcripts uploaded to Scholar Select
- A recommendation from your Advisory Team Chairman (ATC) or another DG chapter adviser, filed electronically using the Scholar Select tool

If a Foundation Scholarship is given, funds are sent directly to the university for credit to the recipient’s account beginning in the fall academic term. Funds are restricted to educational expenses only.
NOTE: Completing a Delta Gamma Foundation Merit-Based Scholarship application makes an applicant eligible for any available undergraduate merit scholarship offered by Delta Gamma Foundation, including endowed scholarships made possible through the generous donations of Fraternity members and friends. (The only exception is the need-based scholarship available to eligible candidates here.)
