The Foundation staff is gearing up for GivingTuesday on December 3, 2024, and we’re calling on you to be a Foundation Champion and encourage giving! In this toolkit, you’ll find information about how you can help with our digitally-driven campaign. The fun starts soon — so get ready! Timeline and Key Dates

Now through November 15: Get the word out

• Save the dates! Add the important dates to your calendar.
• Ensure you are following the Delta Gamma Foundation on Facebook and Instagram.
• Develop your Delta Gamma “why” – why do you support the DG Foundation? This will be your inspiration when you talk with others about the impact they can make too!
• Start making a list of who you want to reach out to in preparation for Giving Tuesday.
• Update your personal giving page with your personal message and use it to make your gift early.
• You can also offer a matching gift. Please reach out to dogood@deltagamma.org for more information on matching gifts.

• Use the sample posts and graphics to share how your individual action can help amplify the impact we make for Delta Gamma.

November 16-30

• Share your DG “why” and announce you’re a Foundation Champion for GivingTuesday.
• Utilize the resources and social media guide in the Foundation Champion Toolkit online to get started.
• Remember to support your fellow Champions by liking or commenting on their posts! More engagement means more visibility.
• Plan your outreach strategy for posting on social media and share your giving page link. This Foundation Champion Toolkit has sample posts and graphics for inspiration!

December 2

• Check the Foundation Champion area of your DG member profile to recognize and thank those donors who have already supported your GivingTuesday campaign.
• Post your Champion Giving Page again and share how the DG Foundation can make a tremendous difference through GivingTuesday.
• Send a quick text or email to your sisters and friends to remind them that GivingTuesday kicks off tomorrow!

December 3: GivingTuesday!

• It’s the moment we have been waiting for! Happy GivingTuesday!
• Wear some DG swag (think a t-shirt, your badge, etc.) and post about the Do Good Sisterhood for GivingTuesday!
• Make sure your giving page is visible on your social media today!
• If you haven’t already, be sure to share about our matching challenge (you can even encourage gifts to your page by being a mini-match donor).
• Before the day ends, check in on your Foundation Champion section of your profile to see who your GivingTuesday donors are and the impact you helped us make this year.

• GivingTuesday is a day focused on collective kindness, so lets put our Do Good motto into action!
• Gifts to the Loyalty Fund mean members are supported in their educational pursuits, are given opportunities to learn and grow through mentorship and leadership training, and people living with blindness or other vision loss gain access to the tools they need to live full, unrestricted lives.
• Last year, the Foundation granted over 500 scholarships, fellowships and Crisis Grants, supported innovative and transformational Fraternity programming, and granted 66 Service for Sight grants to organizations advocating for people in the blind and visually impaired community.
