Two Organizations, One Delta Gamma:
We are one Delta Gamma, but in accordance with Internal Revenue Code, the Foundation and Fraternity are two separate organizations. In 1951, the Delta Gamma Foundation was formed as a complement to the Fraternity, creating a vehicle for members to promote the educational interests and social responsibility referenced in Article II of the Fraternity Constitution. The Foundation is governed by the Delta Gamma Foundation Constitution and Articles of Incorporation. Six elected members, and three ex-officio members who serve concurrently while in the Fraternity Council positions of Fraternity President, Council Trustee: Fraternity Programming, and Fraternity Treasurer, lead the Delta Gamma Foundation to ensure the fulfillment of its philanthropic mission. The Foundation has a body of voting members who participate in an Annual Meeting to determine both the leadership and direction of the Foundation. The Foundation’s mission stays at the forefront of all we do, and “Mission Moments” are one way to stay connected to that mission. Mission Moments are stories, quotes, videos and pictures from a sister or Service for Sight organization, explaining how the Foundation and donors like you have impacted their lives. For over 75 years, Collegiate Development Consultants (CDCs) have been an integral part in the growth and development of the Do Good Sisterhood. In recognition of the character and quality of CDCs, two awards are given each year, The Stuart Consultant: Alexie (Lexi) Rendon, Gamma Xi-Texas Tech and the Baynard Consultant: Ella Brown, Epsilon Phi-Loyola.
First held in 2014, Lewis Institute provides members a structure for self-discovery, helping them identify their unique and authentic leadership style. Participants also learned successful approaches to conflict resolution, and develop an action plan to create positive change, both in their own lives and in their chapters.
Southeastern Guide Dogs reaches a variety of people in need and offers guide dogs to adults and teens with vision loss, as well as service dogs to veterans with PTSD and other disabilities like all at no charge to the recipient. They also provide skilled companion dogs, facility therapy dogs and Gold Star Family Dogs to individuals and families facing emotional hardships, such as depression or the loss of a loved one in the military.

Advocating for equal access to outdoor recreation is core to the Adaptive Sports Center (ASC) mission. Since its inception, ASC has offered adaptive adventures at a reduced rate.
“I love the Adaptive Sports Center because of the people. They’re more than friends to me, they’re family. I come out here and they embrace me. They make me feel like I’m important. I have value. I have purpose. Just being here sparks up my life. The people who do the programs, the people who support the programs, the participants, the caregivers, it takes us all to just join in and change this world and make it a wonderful place for us to live.”
